Finally here (Sunday 12/4/2011)...

After a grueling 30 hour day of travel, we're finally in Krasnodar.  It was interesting that we flew far enough North (we passed over the southern part of Sweden :) ) that the sun didn't come up until about 10am.  Didn't see much of Moscow when we landed, it was pretty much socked in.  4 hrs in Moscow, and our bodies reminded us we'd been up 24 hrs straight.  30-40 minute delay in our flight to Krasnodar, but once we finally got on the plane, we slept most of the last leg.  It was more tiring that they like it hot in Russia, like 80+ indoors, sweltering for us.  Fortunately, our room has an air-conditioner to combat the radiator heating!  We have a meeting tomorrow morning at 11am w/ the Ministry of Education to get an invitation to go to the orphanage.  We'll go there in the afternoon we think.  Long since past time for bed...  --Jim & Jen
