When God closes one door He opens another

For the last 5 months we thought we would be adopting from Ukraine.  In May, this door shut for us.  Ukraine is no longer allowing children under 5 years of age to be adopted and now we are learning that all international adoptions will be placed on hold very soon.  We felt that because 5 is the oldest child that we want to adopt, along with other negative things happening, it was evident that we would not be going to this country.  At first it was sad and frustrating, but when God closes one door He opens another!  We believe that God is sovereign over all.  He is sovereign over our lives and this adoption.

Through prayer and research we found Christian World Adoption (CWA).  Their Russia program fit our family perfectly.  We are excited to be using them as they are reputable and will be praying with us every step of the way.  We have completed our home study and the preliminary steps with CWA so hopefully we'll be talking with our case manager very soon.
